Tolly Film Review - Abar Asbo Phire

After the grand success of famous TV Serial "Ek Akasher Neeche" the director Ravi Ojha took a new challenge to represent the new faces of tele serial in the Tollygunge film industry. His new film has been released named "Abar Asbo Phire". This is the first attempt of director Ravi Ojha in the big screen.

The story builds upon an orphan young girl, Pritha. Pritha has been brought up in a Church headed by a dedicated Father played here by Victor Banerjee. By profession Pritha is a nurse. But she is victim of a peculiar disease. The disease is psychic. Whenever she looks at the Indian national flag or
watches any patriotic film or be it the Indian Independence day she is attacked by her disease of unconsciousness. Several doctors have checked her but were unable to diagnos her disease.

A young FRCS doctor Anindya (Saswata Chatterjee) comes into the story. Then the story took a different turn along with the deepening complexity of Pritha. One day suddenly Pritha attacks Anindya with a knife while she was assisting him in operation theatre. Anindya became astonished at the suddenness of that peculiar incident. But gradually he recovered and began his quest to find out the origin of her disease. This consultancy reveals some interesting incidents related to Pritha and her past life that has a close connection with the freedom struggle of India. This search also brought these two young personalities closer in their personal life.

The two protagonist character Anindya and Pritha are played by Saswata Chatterjee and Koninika Banerjee respectively. Victor Banerjee, Sabitri Chaterjee, Tapas, Rajatava, Biplab, Anasuya and Una are the other attractions and as well as important characters in this film. The director Ravi Ojha assisted directors like Aziz Mirza and Sayed Mirza before. His wife Mitali is the scriptwriter of the film. Singers like Jojo, Joly Mukherjee, Nachiketa, Srikanta Acharya, Subhomita, Gopa sing in the film. The final mixing of music was done at Torento, USA. The film was shoot at different locations of Orissa, Mumbai and West Bengal. The songs of this film are not so impressive. We hope in the long run Ravi will compensate this in his coming films along with his beautiful stories.
