Champion
: The story of Champion is like the one of noted Hindi
film 'Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikander' released in nineties. The
main theme of the film depicts how an irresponsible boy
can be very responsible at a particular stage of life.
In this film we have got a glittering appearance of a
new hero at Tollygunge named 'Jeet'.
In
the first half of the film, Jeet shows his irresponsible
activities and whimsical works. But it was so bluntly
represented that when in future he becomes more responsible
and sincere, was unbelievable to the viewers. In the
same way, enmity between two colleges is limited in
impressing the college girls.

Excellent picturization and photography in the Ramoji
Film City gives the viewers a charming and pleasant feelings.
Apart from Jeet, the other actors and actresses are Shrabonti,
Sandhita, Shubhashis, Siddhartha, Dipankar, Bhola Tamang,
Rudraneel etc. The director of Champion is Ravi Kinagi.
No doubt, there are many entertaining elements are present
in this film. The planning of kick boxing sequence of
Jeet is really praiseworthy and credible. Here it is mandatory
to mention about the three female characters of Champion.
One is two heroines and the other is the supporting actress.
Amongst two heroines one is crazy about love of the hero
and she does the falsification with her father. She believes
all the fictitious fantasy of the hero and gives consent
to his selfish behaviour. But the second heroin is the
daughter of a millionaire father. In this situation she
sometimes believes the anti-hero and sometimes the hero.
And the third one is more dangerous. She embarrassed the
anti-hero in front of his girl friend for a few amount
in a resort with the deceptive appearance of a call-girl.
These three female characters are presented so bluntly
that in this twenty-first century it is unbelievable even
on the screen.
Jeet
is sober, very much fit to the dance and as well as
in action sequences. Now Jeet is very popular to maximum
numbers of spectators, specially to the teenagers. No
doubt, it is a good news. But it will be very hopeful
to the viewers if Tollygunge uses him in a right way.
The film 'Champion' has proved that what type of powerful
character Jeet is. Hats off to Jeet. Because he has
made himself acceptable and credible to the viewers.
We are awaiting for his golden future to enrich the
tolly-film industry.
