Bengali dishes are very popular, yet preparations of various
countries and places in India have grown popular with the cosmopolitan
characteristics of the city. In this cuisine section, we are
trying to figure out some very special and delicious menu that
could be easily prepared at home. The recipe has been brought
in here from different sources and we thank them for their cooperation
in enlighten us with the special dishes.

Machher
Jhuribhaja
This is a good and easy preparation
that can be had as refreshment or with the prime
meal.

Ingredient
· Aar/Bhetki/Dhain/Boal fish - 500
grams
· Mustard oil - 200 grams
· Onion 100 grams
· Garlic - 2 medium size
· Ginger - 25 grams
· Green Chilly - 4 pieces
· Salt - to the requirement
· Tomato - 1 No
· Haldi - 1 teaspoonful
· Dhania Pata - 10 grams

Preparation:
- Cut
fish into medium pieces and fry a bit in mustard oil
- Cool
the fired fish and take out the thorns out of the
pieces
- Put
oil in the Kadai
- Slice
onion in medium sizes and fry a bit till colour turns
into brown
- Add
Garlic and Ginger and fry a bit more
- Add
Haldi, Tomato into small pieces and Chilly cut into
pieces
- Mix
the the entire thing into a smashed one
- Fry
the entire smash till it releases oil
- The
Jhuri Bhaja is ready now
Bring
down the Kadai from oven and sprinkle Dhania Pata a
bit
