are better known for their taste and choice for recipe. Although
Bengali dishes are very popular, yet preparations of various
countries and places in India have grown popular with the cosmopolitan
characteristics of the city. In this cuisine section, we are
trying to figure out some very special and delicious menu that
could be easily prepared at home. The recipe has been brought
in here from different sources and we thank them for their cooperation
in enlighten us with the special dishes.

Lachha
Parata
Ingredients:
· Flour 250 gms
· Egg 2 Nos
· Sour Curd 100 gms
· Salt to taste
· Butter 50 grams
· Sugar 1 teaspoon
|
Preparation:
- Mix
all the ingredient and prepare a light batter.
- Cut
the batter into a reasonable weight of spring ring.
- Flatten
each ring and keep for few minutes.
- Put
the hot plate on the oven.
- Flatten
the flattened roles into a shape like Roti.
- Put
each piece on the oven and bake like Roti (better
use Tandoor).
- Once
it is baked, spread melted butter and serve hot with
side dishes.
- You
can cut the Parathas into small equal pieces and garnish
as you feel best on the top of the slices
