Bengali
style of eating
|
| Eating
out is a unique style which most of the people like to
enjoy in their own manner and style. We are all habituated
in having food at our home in our own traditional and
typical style. Do not you think, at time you seek to change
the cooking hand, style and the menu. This is the reason,
we all love to dine out at the week end or on any special
occasion. Kolkata being metropolitan and cosmopolitan
city, you have the privilege to have cuisine of different
style. It could be Chinese, Thai, Manchurian, Japanese
style from the East, Tandoor, Mughlai Kababs from the
middle east, continental from the western countries. Of
course there remain common Indian menus that stand amidst
all the other menus. |

In this section, I will discuss about the Bengali menu for taste
in the City of Joy. Often it is interpreted that Bengali Menu
means Maach and Bhaat, Rosogolla or Sandesh. But it is not.
In fact we have almost forgotten the typical Bengali Menus which
were cooked by our predecessors. In this fast food age, we have
forgotten those food as these take much of time for arranging
the ingredients and preparation.
For
your good information, there are restaurants and eating out
centers in the city where you can dine out with your nearer
and dearer ones and taste the olden days golden Bengali dishes.
Here are the names and contact information of few restaurants
where you can taste the Bengali Food.
